Low Tax Collection
Objectives
Awareness build up on stop early marriage among the different stakeholder (UP, Kazi and Imam) and minimum one village will be declared free from early marriage
Activities
- Inception meeting with UP bodies and UP standing committee about tax assessment and collection
- Sharing meeting with UP bodies and local elite about the importance of holding tax in Sarail Union Parishad
- Community meeting for raising awareness and motivate people about the importance of Tax through community meeting (6 meeting)
- Preparatory meeting with UP body along with related standing committee to organize tax fair
- To organize Tax Fair at union level
- To setup display board with the motivational massage of holding tax (contribute by UP)
- Activity follow up and monitoring by CSO leader
Achievements
- Holding tax is collected from the citizens in tax fair
- UP will be continuing tax collection
- Now they are more interested to collect tax
- Community people is also interested to give holding tax
- UP explained why people should pay their respective holding tax and how to expense Community people have come to know about the expenditure of their tax in which way.
Child Marriage
Objectives
Awareness build up on stop early marriage among the different stakeholder (UP, Kazi and Imam) and minimum one village will be declared free from early marriage

- Inception meeting with UP bodies and relevant organization/stakeholder
- To conduct community meeting for raising awareness about the demerits of early marriage at village level (4 meeting)
- To organize sharing meeting about the demerits of early marriage with local kazi, Imam, Ghotok and UP representative including govt officials
- Organize rally for raising awareness among the school students, guardian and community people
- To arrange community/school base cultural event (Street drama, folk song etc.) for raising awareness
- To develop child group at village level for preventing early marriage
Achievements
- SMCs has been sensitized about the demerits of early marriage
- Gguardian’s, students’ as well as the MAP/SAP group are aware about the demerits of early marriage
- Stopped early marriage
- Reduced early marriage
- UP Secretary don’t provide any fake birth registration certificate
- Developed community child club for preventing the early marriage
Quality Education
Objectives
To ensure quality education through functioning SMC and increasing guardian’s participation as well as Build the strong monitoring system by respective authority like SMC, Upazila education department and UP standing committee.
Activities
- Information Collection from 3 schools (2 Primary and High school (Area & present status/condition of schools, category & maximum presence of students as well as percentage of results)
- Planning &view exchange meeting with SMC, teacher, guardians TEO, UP Chairman,member,Head teachers, like minded CSO, Community leaders, local elite person, religious leaders. (1 meeting at Union level)
- Mother gathering and formation active mother forum in 3 school
- Meeting with the Active Mother Forum in 3 school
- The programme with the students addressing the NIS in 3 school
- Follow up meeting with re- schooling student, guardian, SMC and school teacher
- Follow up and progress monitoring by CSO leader
Achievements
- SMCs has been more active
- The maximum guardians and the students have come to know about the spiritual values, honesty and integrity
- Mothers are playing their role actively
- Some teachers are playing their role cordially
Unhygienic Sanitation
Objectives
To awareness building on WaSH activity among the community people.
Activities
- Inception meeting with UP bodies and relevant organization/stakeholder
- To conduct community meeting for raising awareness about the demerits of early marriage at village level (4 meeting)
- To organize sharing meeting about the demerits of early marriage with local kazi, Imam, Ghotok and UP representative including govt officials

Planning of Union Parishad
Objectives
Assist to conduct ward shava and declare open budget of union parishad in proper way as per Local Government (Union Parishad) act 2009 for increasing people’s participation to ensure transparency as well as accountability.
Activities
- Inception meeting with UP bodies to set the date for conducting for Ward Shava
- Assist to organize 9 ward Shava at Ward level
- Meeting with UP bodies along with local elite to present the report of Ward Shava (30 person)
Achievements
- Community people have come to know about the importance of planning meeting (ward Shobha) and open budget
- Created a space to participate in the planning meeting for ensuring transparency and accountability
- Ensure peoples’ participation in the decision-making process of local government
